(What is the central conflict that has propelled the events so far?)The central conflict that has propelled was that Madame Loisel was one of those pretty and charming young women.But she married a Clark because she is in middle class family so she can't married rich men.
(CLARIFY: Why is the woman so unhappy?)The woman is so unhappy because she is kind of greedy she was more than she can have
(CAUSE AND EFFECT: Why does the invitation have the opposite effect on Madame Loisel from the one her husband expected?)Because she wants to look rich for the other women and she has no dress to go to the party and she think that the rich guys are going to laugh at her.
